Celebrate Your Love In Style With Navarre Beach Wedding Packages

By Leticia Morton

A host of celebrity couples, from Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, exchanged vows on the beach. There are few things more romantic than declaring your love than doing it with the sound of the ocean in the background. Luckily, unlike most of these celebrities, you don't have to fly yourself and all your friends and family to some exotic island location. You can get the same effect in the USA and at a fraction of the cost with Navarre Beach wedding packages.

Navarre Beach is situated on a barrier island east of Pensacola, Florida. This island, known as Santa Rosa Island, was the site of the first European settlement on the American mainland more than four centuries ago. Today its sand like fine white sugar and its warm waters have made it a popular vacation spot.

The main reason for visitors to flock to Santa Rosa Island is the enormous beach. This part of the coast is often called the Emerald Coast due to the color of the ocean. Golf and water sports like fishing and swimming are popular activities but it's also a great place to take long walks, build sandcastles or just lie back and soak up the sun.

The climate here is humid and hot, just like on a Caribbean island. In high summer, the mercury usually reaches around 90 degrees. January usually has the lowest temperatures but even on the coldest nights it's rarely colder than 40 degrees. Fahrenheit and in January, the coolest month, minimum temperatures seldom drop below 40 degrees. There is no distinctive rainy season and showers can occur any time of the year. You may want to take note of hurricane season though. It's generally between June and November.

Of course the stunning scenery is perfect for a beach wedding. An event like this is usually quite a relaxed and informal affair where having your friends and family celebrating with you is more important than how much you spent on your outfit for the day. You may even choose to get hitched while barefoot and feeling the soft sand between your toes. To make everything perfect, gulls and other birds may look on as you swear eternal devotion to your partner while the waves provide the background music.

If you're the type of person who'd rather be safe than sorry, you may also opt for an indoors ceremony and reception. With a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, rental houses and other venues, it's easy to find a place where you can exchange vows with a roof over your head. Most of these venues still provide the stunning view, though.

Restaurants and other venues often have packages especially for bridal couples. Many of the area's hotels also cater for those wanting to get married here. They'll even provide an events coordinator to make all the arrangements, from the catering and music to the photographer, and they'll give you special prices on accommodation for yourself and all your loved ones who want to share this special day with you.

Opting for one of the Navarre Beach wedding packages means that you don't have to run around for months ahead of the big day trying to think of every little detail. Instead, your hardest job would probably be deciding on which package to choose. While others are doing the work, you can then simply sit back, let yourself be pampered and make sure you look your best on the day.
