Finding Inspiration For Your Wedding Colors

By Jason Larrsohn

Colors are an important part of any Las Vegas wedding. The bride will tend to pick out two or three colors that will represent the theme of the event.

All the colors, decorations, venues, and guests were plotted at age five and rehearsed with Barbie dolls and G.I. Joes (stolen from brothers). Every detail was planned long ago and all she has to do is replace the Ken doll with a real life many and the event is set.

Even with simple distinctions like the time of year though, the color choosing process can still be difficult.

It includes hotels, flights, etc., the whole nine-yards. It means that you and family may be pressed to find a venue, hotel, flight, or vehicle for an affordable price, if you can find one at all.

Luckily for you, there are a number of "cheating" ways that can help you make the hard decision. The word cheating, in this context, refers to drawing inspiration from external elements to help you make your decision.

The first concern isn't easily answered, as there are a ton of color schemes out there that could fit your wedding in Las Vegas. Just as long as you're choosing color schemes that look good together, you really can't go wrong.

Some types of flowers only come in certain colors. Hence, if you have a flower you're dead set on, you can limit your options to what's available.

Have you ever used a color wheel before? A color wheel puts all of the known colors into perspective on a pinwheel.

If you're struggling with a choice of flower, look to what beautiful flowers are in bloom in the month you'll be getting married. You increase your chances that they'll show up colorful and beautiful the day of the wedding if they are in bloom and in stock.

Save some money and secure yourself a place by booking everything early. You'll never regret being too prepared. Fourth, check with your local government how transferring records of a marriage to your hometown works. For many places around the U.S. this isn't a problem, but for visitors from foreign countries, you may have to file some paperwork well before it's time to hop on a plane. Make sure your hometown sanctions Vegas weddings. Then ensure you have the proper paperwork filled out before the weeding.

The setting you choose for your Las Vegas wedding could prove a wealth of inspiration for your creative mind. Visit your venue early in the planning stages to capture the full vision of your big day; it will influence all of your plans. Third, carry on a tradition. Ask your mother what she did for her wedding.

Colorschemedesigner.com is one of those that work well. Now if you need three colors instead you can still use the color wheel to pick helpful colors, but they won't be the "pure complement" discussed in the previous paragraphs.
