African social network offers an avenue for people to exchange thoughts on what they encounter on a daily basis. An efficient network is one that that has the highest number of users. Social media has grown rapidly over the years and as result is being used for marketing, improving company image and some avenues give users the freedom to buy and pay for services and goods.

Unlike in the olden days whereby people had no way of seeing each besides having to meet face to face, social media has changed this. Companies are now able to meet with their managers who are miles away thanks to video conferencing. Many established companies have seized the opportunities for growth by integrating customer service experience in their daily functions. Customers also like companies that embrace technology and try to add value to their needs. With this particular media it is easier for customers to give feedback about the company without the fear of victimization.

Since this mode of media solely depends on content that is uploaded, modified or created by its users it offers people an avenue to showcase their talents and creativity. At the same time users are often paid for their content especially when other participants purchase it. Therefore, it is a source of employment for a particular group of users.

Participating in this media gives users the privileged to access as much information as they need; this eventually leads to an increase in research and growth. Users that feel they do not belong in particular groups in the community can join a network that they feel has identical needs and desires. This will raise their self esteem and make them better members in the community. Social media has taught people on the different ways of life in various part of the planet.

Many employers now perceive this media as an opportunity to expand their clientele. Therefore, job seekers that have effective skills in utilizing this network stand a better chance to be employed. It is hence regarded as a viable career path to undertake.

With millions of potential customers at their reach industries and corporate have minimized their advertising budgets by making use of common media. Family ties have been made stronger by social networks because it is possible for members to talk and see each other more frequently than in the traditional set up of communication.
